PLATINUM ONE won the tender in 2009 to event manage and promote events within the DLRCC culture and heritage calendars.
The Mountains to Sea DLR Book festival which took place in September 2009 was a four day celebration of the county’s literary heritage, involving author readings, children's festival in the park, drama performances and walking tours. Authors involved included Paul Auster, Sebastian Faulks and Maeve Binchy. PLATINUM ONE managed all elements of the event production, and promoted it through an integrated comms plan including outdoor, on-line, print, radio, TV and social networking.
The Summer of Heritage programme opened to the public the county’s heritage sites through the use of guides and living history performances, and ran from June to October 2009.
