Scott Hastings

ScottHastings.JPG Thumbnail1.jpgAs a Sports Director for PLATINUM ONE, his current projects include the Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival, the 6 Nations Clubhouse and the annual Scottish Enterprise Corporate Golf Challenge.
Scott continues to be regularly involved in the media, and occasionally writes a column for Scotland on Sunday as well as commentating on Sky Sports (Heineken Cup Coverage) and ITV (Rugby World Cup coverage). He combines this activity with after-dinner speaking commitments, and counts the likes of Sainsburys, Standard Life and Bank of Scotland as former clients. Scott’s goal for 2008 is to find more time to lower his golf handicap!

Martyn Wilson

MartynWilson.JPG Thumbnail1.jpgMartyn worked within the agency world for over 10 years, on behalf of some of the biggest blue chip clients in Britain, before joining PLATINUM ONE in December 2008. A portfolio that includes the likes of HBoS, Whyte & Mackay, CIS Insurance, Tennents, Alliance Trust Savings, Glenmorangie, BSkyB and Bells. Since joining the PLATINUM ONE team, the one time golf and football enthusiast has found a new love in darts. A passion that has grown since he followed the Premier League Darts around the country on behalf of Whyte & Mackay.

Michael Scallon

MichaelScallon.JPG Thumbnail1.jpgEight years ago, Michael took the Belfast ferry across to Scotland and has never looked back since. After studying Marketing Management at Napier University and stints at Scottish Water, Material Marketing & Communications, he first met current colleagues Fife and Martyn at 1576, and joined them on the PLATINUM ONE sports team. Once a less than competent semi-professional football player (I would have made it but I got injured…..bet you haven’t heard that one before?), he now lists basketball, golf and athletics amongst his sporting pastimes, in addition to watching his beloved Norwich scrape out of yet another Championship relegation battle.
