LOUGH ERNE CHALLENGE

PLATINUM ONE will promote and manage next July’s “Duel on the Lough”, the exciting head-to-head battle between Ireland’s top two golfers Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy, at Lough Erne Golf Resort in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh. Working with Lough Erne Golf Resort, PLATINUM ONE created the format for the new event which the resort plans to host biennially on the Nick Faldo designed Championship course on the shores of Lough Erne. The inaugural event featuring Ireland's two world top 20 ranked players will be staged on Wednesday July 22nd.
The event was officially announced at Lough Erne Golf Resort on March 24th where world number 16 Rory McIlroy was in attendance and 3 times Major Champion, Padraig Harrington joined the press conference via satellite link from Orlando Florida where he was preparing for the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.
PLATINUM ONE will shortly announce details of ticket prices for the event. 4,000 tickets are to be made available to members of the public.
